Kids N' Community LogoKnown as the extension of the Carolina Hurricanes, the Kids ‘N’ Community Foundation offers programming assistance and financial support for the Boys & Girls Clubs serving Wake County.

The financial investment supports the DUNN Deal program - an initiative conducted for 7th-12th graders at the Washington Elementary Boys & Girls Club encompassing academice, recreational and social components.

Hadley Watson

Young Advocate member Hadley Watson has been a Boys & Girls Clubs volunteer since relocating to Raleigh in 2006. She chaired the Young Advocates of the Boys & Girls Clubs for two consecutive years, tirelessly promoting and fundraising for the Clubs. But her efforts did not stop there! She has also mentored a teen Club member, both in academics and in life skills.

Capital Bank

Capital Bank is a strong believer in giving back to the community they serve. This is why the Boys & Girls Clubs is dear to Capital Bank’s heart. Concerned about the wellbeing of young people Capital Bank has been a long-term supporter of the Boys & Girls Clubs by investing in the Positive Place For Kids Campaign each year. The community bank’s support, however, reaches deeper and allows for employees to actively be involved in the Clubs’ programs that reach from mentoring Club members to providing financial literacy classes to parents.

LeVelle Moton

A Raleigh Boys Club alumnus and raised by a single mother, LeVelle is happy to give back to the one organization that supported him and his older brother during his formative years. Growing up in a housing project was not always easy for LeVelle, while being exposed to crime, poverty and the lure of the streets. Instead, LeVelle found his outlet in basketball at the Boys & Girls Clubs and shortly developed a passion for the sports along with a true talent.
