Are you ready to change lives?
Volunteers are critical to the success of the Boys & Girls Clubs. With your time, energy, and expertise, we are better able to prepare our members for great futures. Volunteers have the power to impact our members in a way that can truly change their life forever.
We typically need volunteers interested in one of the following five areas:
(1) Individual Volunteers
Volunteers working individually must complete a volunteer application. Once the application is completed, volunteers must have a background check performed as well as attend an orientation session. We also ask that volunteers pay a $10 fee to cover the cost of their required background check when they complete their application. If you have any questions, please contact CC Chambers at firstname.lastname@example.org or 919-834-6282.
Volunteers must be 18 years of age or older. For rising high school sophomores through seniors reference our volunteen program. Please note that we do not allow volunteers completing court-ordered/recommended community service (no matter the offense) to work in our Clubs.
We always need Tutors/Homework Helpers!
Every day after school Boys & Girls Clubs members ages 6-18 participate in Power Hour, our homework help and tutoring program, from 3:00pm until 6:00pm. We especially welcome and encourage volunteers who can work one-on-one with our members during Power Hour consistently.
Each of our seven Clubs run programs that are unique to the interests of their members, but some common programs we need volunteers’ help with are art programs and sports programs like Soccer for Success and Basketball. Please contact individual Clubs to find out what kinds of specific volunteer needs they have in each of the 5 program areas.
Boys & Girls Clubs is always in need of volunteers who can help us raise the funds needed to continue in our mission to enable our 4,500+ members to reach their full potential. Our Great Futures Campaign, kicks off in February with the goal to raise $815,000 between 40 fundraising teams. With lots of incentives, volunteering with the Annual Campaign is a fun way to network and support the important work of the Boys & Girls Clubs. Contact Daniel Pietrzak at 919-834-6282 or email@example.com for more information.

All classroom materials will be provided — individuals and groups are welcome to sign up!
