Our program are spotlight today is on Character Development & Leadership programming, with a particular spotlight on the teen leadership program Keystone Club. Keystone is The Club's premier, member-led service group. Keystone youth are responsible for creating teen recruitment events, facilitating community service projects in the community, and deciding how the Club looks and feels throughout the school year. Members come up with outreach activities, assist with in-school recruiting efforts, and strive to make their Teen Center as diverse as possible. At The Club - Teen Center, 2021 was one of the biggest years yet, marking the highest year of member participation. Our teens merged previous advisors with new members, and formed new relationships, such as partnering regularly with Broughton High School and the W.E.L.L.- Wade Edwards Learning Lab. With guidance from Club staff, Keystone participants put their mark on the Teen Center. Aaron’s Inc. sponsors the Keystone program and this year our Club was fortunate enough to be the 50th Teen Center to win the Aarons Teen Center Refresh Contest, a $20,000 grant that allowed The Club's Keystoners to build a wish list of items to improve their Club. The Club - Teen Center now has a fully renovated weight room, a brand new gaming space, and a digital arts production center, designed by Keystoner youth and gifted by Aarons. Thanks to Aarons and great work Keystone Club! ... See MoreSee Less
