HOW YOUR INVESTMENT SERVES YOUTH IN WAKE COUNTY
Our goal is to raise $150,000 – and we hope you’ll join us to help us reach our goal.
Now more than ever, kids in Wake County need your support. This year, your investment allows the Clubs to provide youth development programs plus a safe, productive environment for Wake County students to access remote education. We’re doing Whatever it Takes to ensure that COVID-19 won’t limit our 5,132 Club Members’ ability to grow as productive citizens, with the support of the Boys & Girls Clubs.
In recent months, Boys & Girls Clubs has:
Offered 68 separate videos of virtual content viewed 2,632 times by Club Members since COVID-19 struck in mid-March.
Provided 16,007 meals to Members and families in need in July and August.
Ensured 980 Wake County students have had reliable, daily internet access at the Clubs to participate in remote education since August 17.
Provided 3,950 bags of groceries to struggling local families at our Friday Food Pantry.
Provided a safe summer camp and program experience for 806 Wake County youth between July 6 and August 14.
