OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA“A fundraising event unlike any other”…. That is how one would describe Appetite 4 Art held on Friday, April 11th at Marbles Kids Museum in downtown Raleigh. Appetite 4 Art engaged Triangle residents in an evening of fun, food, and art to raise nearly $40,000 for Boys & Girls Clubs art programs. Guests enjoyed fine cuisine and wine from downtown restaurants like Centro and 18 Seaboard while bidding on artwork from local artists as well as art personally crafted by Boys & Girls Clubs members. The event also featured fashion from local designers through a partnership with Redress Raleigh, and a variety of other items from local businesses. Aerialists from Cirque de Vol Studios were also on hand and entertained guests with acrobatics throughout the night.

A special thanks goes out to Dale Epstein, Appetite 4 Art event chair, and the Boys & Girls Clubs Young Advocates for planning and orchestrating the event. Appetite 4 Art was a huge success and the Boys & Girls Clubs is lucky to have such a dedicated group of volunteers!
