With the start of the new Capital City Crew program well underway, it is easy to see the great things that lie ahead for this season. Every Monday night you can find about fifty boys and girls from our Wake County Boys & Girls Clubs out on the ice at the Raleigh Iceplex. Capital City Crew provides our kids a great opportunity to learn new skills both on and off the ice with each participant getting an hour of on-ice instruction followed by a life skills class in order to teach positive character traits. The goal of this program is to not only grow the sport of hockey for underprivileged youth, but to also help them become caring, responsible citizens and leaders.
