Boys & Girls Club alumni LeVelle Moton, head basketball coach at N.C. Central, is taking his team to the NCAA Tournament for the first time. After clinching the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference Tournament, the first conference championship of any type for NCCU since 1950, N.C. Central earned a berth into the “Big Dance.” LeVelle is a Boys & Girls Clubs Hall of Fame member and held a Back to School Community Day this past fall in partnership with the Boys & Girls Clubs where over 500 backpacks filled with school supplies were distributed in the local community.
