The Lonerider Showdown held Saturday, March 29, 2014, was more than just an evening featuring music and craft beers. It was also an event to support a great cause – The Boys & Girls Clubs of Wake County. “The Boys & Girls Clubs in Wake County is pleased to be the beneficiary of this year’s Lonerider Showdown. We appreciate the opportunity to work with a great local business like Lonerider Brewing Company and the funds raised at this event will help us to continue to serve the youth of Wake County who need us most,” says Liz Davey, Vice President Development and Marketing for The Boys & Girls Clubs of Wake County.
“As Lonerider grows as a company so does our responsibility to be a part of the community. I am very glad to have the Boys & Girls Clubs of Wake County be a part of our efforts. We had a successful event that supports their fantastic efforts,” says Sumit Vohra, Lonerider’s CEO.
Bands featured at this year’s event were “Roseland“, “The Ends“, “Dark Water Rising“, “Birds With Fleas“,and “Look Homeward“. The DJ / Emcee for the evening was “the hardest working DJ in the State”, DJ K Stones.
